Iron Horse Park Survey

We are conducting an informal survey to assess the interest level of members of the Franklin community (or those wishing to call Franklin home) as we pursue development of Iron Horse Park, the 20 acres ideally located on the corner of Franklin Rd and Mack Hatcher adjacent to First Presbyterian Church and The Vanderbilt Legends Golf Club. This is an information gathering survey, one aimed at helping us better define the development of Iron Horse Park.

If you want to view renderings of the plan cick here.

Please fill out the form below for your comments and feedback about Iron Horse Park.
Thank you in advance for your time.

1. Would you like to see 40 or so large, million-dollar-plus homes erected on this property -- homes similar to those in Legends Ridge or Princeton Hills?

2. Do you currently see a need for a traffic light at the entrance of Legends Club Lane ? If so, would you support higher density than the land is currently zoned for (as many as 145 units) on Iron Horse Park if it were the only way to obtain a traffic light?

3.
Would you be a proponent of Iron Horse Park offering luxurious “downsized” and lavishly appointed homes in the neighborhood of 125-145 units if the homes included flats, town homes, and single family homes (or some combination of the above) at a price point of $450,000 to over $1 million (penthouses with golf course views)?

4. Would you like to see “walkable” community living (i.e. sidewalks) in a park-like setting with water features such as lakes and fountains with future possible connections to the Franklin Parks trail system that may include Ropers Knob and Harlinsdale Farm?

5.
As a passerby on Mack Hatcher or Franklin Rd. looking in or as a resident of Iron Horse Park looking out, would you prefer to see Iron Horse Park continue the topography of the current landscape by extending the rolling hillside feature fronting Franklin Rd. around the property down Mack Hatcher and enhancing the natural/native vegetation to substantially improve the rural setting?

6.
Or as a passerby or resident, would you prefer to see the bordering topography remain the same with no extension and landscaping only?

7.
How do you see the 20 acres of Iron Horse Park best serving Williamson County ?

Thank you for your time and support. If you know of someone who may wish to call this prime location home in the future, please direct them to our website.
